Field notes / why it works

The first two shots hold for 2.21 and 2.71 seconds, letting the viewer register a person, the mark and two sports before the pace rises. The 10–15-second stretch packs nine cuts into action and reaction, while the most-replayed window at 8.7–9.0 seconds bridges team energy and a race start. A clean white wordmark appears at 28.3 seconds after the film has built meaning through people and movement.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 30-second, music-led sports film moves through baseball, tennis, basketball, track and football. It promises collective possibility through visible action and attitude, then resolves to a short brand line and wordmark at 28.3 s. The engine is a shift from a patient first two shots to a dense sequence of hits, near misses, smiles and celebrations.

Why it works

  • The first shot holds 2.21 s on a baseball player walking toward camera while a large white mark fills the right side; the next shot changes sport at 2.2 s, establishing breadth without exposition.
  • The center accelerates: 9 cuts between 10 and 15 s, with shots as short as 0.33 s. Actions and reactions carry the film even with the sound off.
  • The most replayed moment at 8.7–9.0 s lands on the handoff from basketball bench energy to a two-runner race setup. The final white wordmark appears only after 28.3 s of people and movement.

On screenNearly all live-action sport and reaction footage; one opening logo overlay and one closing wordmark; no subtitle system.
CaptionsNone. Only brand marks and the final line carry text.
SoundContinuous driving, upbeat rhythmic track with vocal texture (inferred); music remains prominent. Measured −14.3 LUFS integrated, −1.4 dBFS true peak.
