An Office AI Pitch Meets the Dog at the Desk
A 30-second live-action brand ad turns an AI access claim into a deadpan office misunderstanding, then reveals the logo in the final two seconds.
Field notes / why it works
The opening holds a normal office wide for 4.84 seconds, then reveals a dog at a workstation, making the broad AI access claim unexpectedly literal. Ten reaction-led shots and a single paw close-up at 0:19.4 escalate the awkwardness without captions or flashy edits; a 5.42-second closing wide leaves room for a deadpan line and the logo at 0:28.2.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished office scene opens mid-conversation with a broad automation claim. A dog seated like an employee makes the presenter’s ordinary idioms suddenly literal, and the dialogue spirals into increasingly awkward small talk before a sparse product logo closes the spot. The promise arrives in the first 5 seconds; the comedy proves that the claim applies more widely than expected without a feature tour.
Why it works
- The camera reveals the unusual “employee” by 0:06–0:08, turning the opening claim into a question the viewer wants resolved.
- The punchline keeps changing shape: literal “hands” at 0:05, a dog idiom at 0:11, a sports-film reference at 0:18, and a failed small-talk exit at 0:20–0:27.
- Ten shots at a measured 18 cuts/min allow the actors’ discomfort to play; a 5.42 s final shot carries the brand at 0:28.2.
