The 5 AM Ride Checklist
A 15-second cinematic service ad turns four travel tasks into a quiet proof of early-morning ride availability.
Field notes / why it works
Four object close-ups and three cuts in the first 3 seconds turn a travel checklist into a visual hook; the app arrives as its last item at 0:02.5. A long pause before 0:08.2 lets the tired family and waiting car establish the need, then two centered text states make the local availability claim easy to grasp before the 0:13.6 brand stop.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, cinematic ad turns an ordinary pre-dawn checklist into a product habit. Four object close-ups imply an early trip before the film reveals a family outside, then a two-part text claim answers the unspoken worry: service will be available when they need it.
Why it works
- The first four items each get a distinct image and spoken noun by 0:03.1; the product becomes the final checklist item at 0:02.5.
- The pace changes sharply: four cuts by 0:04.2, then one long final sequence. The pause before the explanation is 2.82 seconds after 0:05.4.
- The service claim is grounded by a waiting car and travelers around 0:09.6; the first white text state is visible by then, the second arrives near 0:10.8, and the brand closes at 0:13.6.
