Arc Boosts: make the web yours
A maker-led feature launch that turns a personal web story into live, escalating browser customization demos.
Field notes / why it works
The opening gives the feature a human maker at 0:00 and identifies it on a clean card around 0:03.2. Three increasingly playful use cases from 0:33 to 0:45 reset attention, while the live editor and visibly recolored page at 0:49–0:59 prove the product claim. The 17 in-shot screen changes keep the two long demo shots active without hectic cutting.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A friendly maker introduces a product feature through a personal reason for caring, then shows the feature changing familiar websites live. The proof grows from simple cosmetic changes to surprising, playful customization before a short brand sign-off.
Why it works
- The speaker appears immediately at 0:00, while the feature name arrives on a clean title card around 0:03.2. The first three seconds hold one human face with no graphic clutter.
- The examples escalate between 0:33 and 0:45: restyle a social site, add controls to a code site, then a deliberately absurd image swap. Each spoken question gets an on-screen demonstration.
- The 0:48–0:59 editor and before/after views show the actual creation process. The viewer sees both the tool and its result, instead of hearing only a claim.
