Field notes / why it works

Gameplay begins at 0:02, and the first new-content card arrives around 0:13, quickly turning the setup into product proof. Numbered cards around 0:20, 0:39, 0:41, and 0:45 make a dense expansion list scannable, while 30 shots over 60 seconds keep the demonstrations moving. The final 8.85-second shot slows down for the title and release date.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A 60-second expansion announcement begins with a brief platform ident, then shows almost uninterrupted top-down gameplay while a theatrical narrator runs through additions. Four large numerical feature cards interrupt the footage, each immediately backed by more gameplay; an illustrated release card supplies the final date. The product promise becomes explicit around 0:10.8 with the first new-content reveal.

Why it works

  • The first gameplay arrives at 0:02, so the narration's build-up has visual proof almost immediately. The first feature card lands at 0:13.2.
  • The cards at about 0:19.8, 0:38.7, 0:41.4, and 0:44.7 turn a dense list into countable additions, while footage shows each category.
  • The 29 detected cuts (29–36/min including uncertain changes) maintain movement, then the 8.85-second final shot lets the artwork, platforms, and date settle.
