A superhero interrupts the family drive
A 67-second cinematic car crossover turns a city action chase into a parent–child joke before the product reveal.
Field notes / why it works
A wordless rooftop run and leap occupy 0:00–0:05, so motion creates the hook before speech starts at 0:06. The in-car parent–child exchange slows the film before two subsecond action shots at 0:48.3 and 0:48.8; the most-replayed peak is 0:48.2–0:48.9, just ahead of the product frame at 0:55.6.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A miniature action film makes a large public spectacle feel immediate, then cuts into a calm, recognisable exchange inside the product. The character's reaction creates the joke; a short exterior action payoff and a clean product frame turn the story into an ad. The viewer first sees the product at about 0:13, but the sales headline waits until 0:56.
Why it works
- The 0:00–0:05 opening is pure movement: a costumed figure runs, leaps, and falls past tall buildings before anyone speaks at 0:06.
- The 0:13–0:41 interior scene gives the spectacle a human counterpoint: a child notices the action while the adult seems to explain it away. The longest shot, 12.2 seconds, can hold because its picture changes five times.
- The most replayed span is 0:48.2–0:48.9, where the action figure lands on the car and prepares to leave; the brand payoff follows at 0:55.6–0:58.

| Pace | 20 shots, 19 cuts, 17.1 cuts/min; 19 internal picture changes, 34.1 changes/min total; mean shot 3.34 s, median 2.0 s |
| Script | 81 transcribed words; 80 wpm across runtime, about 163 wpm during spoken passages; 10 short sentences; no spoken hook in first 6 s |
| Voices | Urgent field reporter, excited child, restrained adult; a final reporter tag. The pooled 247 Hz pitch measure mixes speakers and should not define one voice. |
| On screen | About 70% live-action narrative and interior/product footage, 15% action establishing shots, 15% reporter, product and end-card frames (approximate from sheets). |
| Captions | No dialogue subtitles or kinetic captions. Text is a news lower third, brief product headline, legal microtext and final marks. |
| Sound | Continuous, prominent tonal bed by detector; cinematic urgency is inferred from genre. Dialogue, action ambience and vehicle movement carry the scenes. −10.9 LUFS integrated; +0.9 dBFS measured true peak. |
| Structure | Six beats: silent action → news exposition → product as safe observation point → family misread → action on product → product/end-card plus reporter channel tag. |
