Why it works
The opening illustrated landscape holds until frame 395 while its forward motion defines one clear metaphor. Shot 3 turns the world through a measured 41.3-degree roll, shot 15 pulls out to 0.36 scale, and the recurring connecting shape lets long shots change meaning without dense on-screen text. Narration covers 76% of the film, so the reversals land as spoken clauses rather than beat-grid edits.
