Surround Sound for One
A 15-second product film turns room-filling sound into a private headphone experience through three patient shots.
Field notes / why it works
The 9.08-second opening shot guides attention from a dark product silhouette to the person wearing headphones, so the feature reads as one transformation. A 1.8-second phone insert proves the control action, then the wide payoff holds from 10.9 seconds through the end; the strongest replay point is 13.5–13.7 seconds as the final claim becomes legible.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent-to-read product film turns a room-scale experience into a private one. A close product reveal and one clear phone action set up the payoff: a lone viewer enjoying a large-screen sports scene, with the feature claim appearing only after the visual demonstrates it.
Why it works
- The centered white logo and dark, moving product silhouette occupy the first 1.25 s; there is no explanatory voice competing with the image.
- One continuous opening shot lasts 9.08 s but changes its focal point from soundbar to home theater hardware to the viewer putting on headphones. Text arrives as the relevant object appears around 2.25–6.1 s.
- The phone insert at 9.1 s gives the feature a visible action. The wide payoff at 10.9 s holds through the end and contains the most-replayed moment, 13.5–13.7 s.

| Reference | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 15.0 s · measured source 640×360 at 25 fps |
| Pace | 3 shots, 2 cuts, 8 cuts/min, 5.01 s mean shot; first cut at 9.08 s |
| Script | No reliable narration. Three short on-screen thought units: source experience, transfer to listener, product availability. One isolated “You” in the transcript is insufficient to establish a voice track. |
| Voice | None as a planned layer; the human is an actor archetype, not a presenter. |
| On screen | About 61% moving product/lifestyle reveal, 12% phone UI insert, 28% wide outcome shot |
| Captions | Small white sans-serif sentence case, centered low; phrases fade in over live action. |
| Sound | Music-like bed detected, roughly 134 BPM (style inferred); measured −10.9 LUFS integrated, −1.3 dBFS true peak. Effects are unverified. |
| Structure | Brand/object hook → product use → one UI action → wide experiential payoff; no explicit CTA. |
