Field notes / why it works

A hand places the small product by 0:01, so its later outsized arms make the size-to-power joke instantly legible; the first detected cut waits until 0:17.8 while animation keeps the frame active. The multi-armed second act gives performance claims distinct visual tasks at 0:21–0:28, then a brief cut burst at 0:30.8–0:31.6 clears into a readable product lockup around 0:34–0:37.9.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A palm-size product becomes a larger-than-life character. A hand places it in an empty white world; it sprouts muscular arms, then a more intricate multi-armed form while an animated narrator moves from an introduction to performance claims. The final product lockup translates the spectacle into a name and a short claim.

Why it works

  • The first 0.75 s is almost empty; a real hand brings the product into view before the first cut at 17.75 s. The viewer can immediately judge its size.
  • Capability becomes action: flexing at about 0:08–0:12, then tool-like arms and objects around 0:21–0:28. The claim and image carry the same idea.
  • After the busiest movement at 0:30–0:33, the film gives the product and claim a still, readable hold around 0:34–0:37.9.
