Field notes / why it works

The phone is centered at 0:00 and identified by 0:00.25, then a short benefit card resets the frame before the first cut at 0:04.5. Hardware close-ups lead to compact feature claims, and the busy human demonstration at 0:13.8–0:18.3 supplies a visible use case before the quieter UI proof at about 0:23.6. The 0:09.0–0:09.3 feature claim coincides with the strongest replay peak, though the replay data does not establish why viewers returned.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A polished, speech-free launch film shows the product immediately, names a benefit, reveals two features through extreme close-ups and short text cards, then proves one feature in a human scene and the other in the interface. Sparse white copy and a continuous music bed let the object and demonstrations carry the pitch.

Why it works

  • The object is legible at 0:00, with the product name visible by 0:00.25; viewers know what is being launched before the first cut at 0:04.5.
  • A close camera detail at 0:07.8 leads to a feature claim at 0:08.3–0:09.3. The 0:09.0–0:09.3 interval is the strongest replay peak, though the replay data alone cannot explain why.
  • The film switches from controlled product renders to a birthday scene at 0:13.8, then to an interface view around 0:23.6. Both benefits get a different kind of proof.
