Robot companion tested across terrain
A wordless robot launch film stacks real-world capability tests, then returns to its surprising tennis hook.
Field notes / why it works
The first 0.3 seconds pair an unusual racket action with a large capability promise, then the car and runner make the robot's scale clear by 0:03. Terrain changes keep supplying proof: rocks by 0:07, water around 0:15, snow around 0:35, and human-scale load testing at 0:43–0:49. The most-replayed interval at 0:54.5–0:55.1 catches the return to the tennis action and brand transition.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led launch film presents a compact robot as a useful companion, then tests it across trails, water, snow, carrying and dexterity. The promise appears on the first frame as a large size-versus-capability claim; the rest of the film answers it with action footage and brief, measurable labels.
Why it works
- The first 0.3 seconds show an unexpected physical feat, with the tennis-racket robot and a large capability claim visible before the first cut.
- The setting and proof change repeatedly: hiking by 0:02, rocky ground by 0:07, water by 0:15, snow by 0:35, and load bearing by 0:44.
- The most-replayed interval is 0:54.5–0:55.1, at the return to the tennis action and transition into the end card; the 0:47.6–0:48.1 load demonstration is the second replay peak.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 57.0 s · source measured at 640×360, 25 fps |
| Pace | 21 detected shots, 20 cuts, 21.1 detected cuts/min; 29 uncertain fast-motion changes make the possible range 21.1–51.6/min. Mean shot 2.71 s, median 2.44 s. |
| Script | No spoken words; short, on-screen product claims and feature labels. WPM: not applicable. |
| Voice | None. People are anonymous outdoor-user archetypes, shown as scale and use-case context. |
| On screen | Nearly all live-action product footage; a 2.2 s brand/legal end card. |
| Captions | Small white sans-serif, sentence case, bottom-left, generally one line; large white opening title and lilac performance line. These are labels, not speech subtitles. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like track, roughly 114 BPM (low-confidence estimate); no clear effects tied to cuts. Measured −3.6 LUFS integrated and +1.9 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | 8 capability beats; strongest physical proof around 0:43–0:49; brand card at 0:54.8; no spoken CTA. |
