Dexterous Robot Hand Capability Demo
A silent 50-second launch film moves from object-handling tests to a close human demonstration of the hand's responsiveness.
Field notes / why it works
The first 0.4 seconds pair a close product view with a clear capability promise, then cut straight to a grasping test. Four different tasks arrive before 0:16.4, building evidence through variation. The 0:34–0:48 human interaction makes force response visible; all three reported replay peaks fall in or near that section.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, widescreen launch film promises dexterity with a product close-up and a title in the first 0.4 seconds. It then proves the claim through progressively clearer physical tasks: catching a small object, handling cards, rotating a cube, turning pages, displaying finger movement, and finally letting a human move the device by hand (0:34–0:48). The footage carries the argument; brief specification labels add technical credibility.
Why it works
- The 0:00 title gives the object and benefit immediately; at 0:00.4, the film cuts to action.
- Five visible tests unfold by 0:16.4, so the claim accumulates evidence before the long 17.68-second articulation demonstration.
- The 0:34–0:48 human interaction makes an abstract force-control claim tangible. Replay peaks occur at 0:34.7–0:35.2, 0:40.3–0:40.8, and 0:45.9–0:46.4.

| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 16:9 · 640×360 measured source · 50.0 s · 25 fps |
| Pace | 8 shots; 7 cuts; 8.4–9.6 cuts/min allowing one uncertain change; 20.4 picture changes/min including internal steps; 6.25 s mean shot |
| Script | No spoken words, questions, or narrator; title, short specification labels, and end card do the writing |
| Voice | None; silent-viewing friendly |
| On screen | 0.4 s title, about 16 s task demos, 17.7 s frontal hand motion, 14 s human interaction, 2 s brand card |
| Captions | No speech captions; small white technical labels near the top during feature demonstrations |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music-like track, roughly 96 BPM (low-confidence estimate); −9.5 LUFS integrated; no clear cut effects |
| Structure | Title → four task tests → articulation → tactile proof → hard-stop brand card; no explicit call to action |
