A Future Car Built from Eight What-Ifs
A cinematic electric concept-car launch that turns eight speculative questions into a gradual, image-led reveal.
Field notes / why it works
The 12.5-second wordless opening builds a future world before eight recurring questions turn it into a series of desires. Human close-ups, partial design details, and driving shots lead to a clean tunnel hero view at 0:50–0:52, the strongest replay peak. The name and final line are held until about 1:14 and 1:21, giving the film a clear final answer.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A cinematic product launch framed as a chain of speculative questions. A mysterious, wordless world creates desire for 12.5 seconds; a low, intimate voice asks what a future product could be while fragments of people, environments, and the product accumulate; the full promise, product name, and brand arrive near the end.
Why it works
- The first 12.5 seconds offer moving city aerials, an awakening figure, and space imagery before any explanation, creating an open loop about the object and world.
- Eight repeated questions (0:12.5–1:13.7) give a clear verbal structure to otherwise surreal imagery. Each question introduces another facet: daily use, intelligence, design, experience, versatility, comfort, emotion, and future possibility.
- The clearest front and side view in the blue-lit tunnel at 0:50–0:52 coincides with the strongest measured replay peak (0:51.3–0:52.2). The final name lands at about 1:14 and the slogan at 1:21.
