Side-Access PSU Reveal
A music-led hardware launch film that turns a side-mounted connector change into a luminous, replayable installation demonstration.
Field notes / why it works
The opening holds a stark logo and three-word title for 4.25 seconds, giving the later electric cable path a strong contrast. The design change is visible by about 10 seconds, and the clearest cable-to-port connection at 34.3–34.8 seconds is the video's most-replayed moment. Nine spacious shots move from enclosure to isolated product to installed result, making the hardware claim easy to inspect.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium hardware launch film opens with a restrained brand/title card, then moves from a closed case to a luminous cutaway that shows the product's distinctive geometry. It spends most of its time on the object and on the practical result: cables reaching side-facing ports with a clear route through the enclosure. The promise is named by 1 s; its practical meaning becomes visible around 10 s and is demonstrated most clearly at 33–35 s.
Why it works
- The first 4.25 s hold a stark white emblem and three-word product title on black. With no cuts in the first 3 s, the film establishes a premium, deliberate pace.
- At 10–11 s, fluorescent yellow-green cables against a charcoal case explain the product's benefit visually. The most-replayed interval, 34.3–34.8 s, returns to the cable-to-port connection.
- The film alternates an exterior product view, a transparent case cutaway, connector close-ups, and the finished build. The 9-shot, 48.8 s structure leaves time to inspect the unusual design.

| Pace | 9 measured shots; 8 cuts; 9.8–12.3 possible cuts/min; 12.3 picture changes/min including two internal steps; mean shot 5.42 s, median 4.1 s |
| Script | No reliable spoken words. Transcription produced only punctuation, so spoken WPM is not applicable. Sparse title and product labels carry the copy. |
| Voice | No discernible narrator in the supplied evidence; design this as a voice-free film. |
| On screen | Product/case imagery throughout, plus opener and end logo; no person, interface, or conventional subtitles. Some views appear rendered or composited (inferred). |
| Captions | None. Use only one short opening title, product markings, one small feature badge, and an end logo. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal, music-like bed; roughly 104 BPM in the measured later section; −13.0 LUFS integrated. No clear cut-synchronized effects. |
| Structure | Identity → installed context → luminous route → object beauty views → exposed connection payoff → finished build → brand stop. No spoken or on-screen CTA. |
