From One Video to Every Language
A 32-second SaaS ad turns a human source clip into animated product cards, then lands on a large multilingual result.
Field notes / why it works
The spoken benefit starts at 0:00, and the source clip becomes a product card with several language versions by about 0:03; the highest replay point is 0:01.9–0:02.2. The ad keeps only four measured shots but adds five internal picture steps, so the UI feels active while each workflow remains readable. At 0:24–0:28, miniature interface detail gives way to one large translated result and a spacious brand finish.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished 16:9 B2B SaaS ad starts with a relaxed person and a direct promise, then pulls that image into an animated product library. It shows an input, one or two operations, and the resulting output before turning the benefit into an end-card logo and spoken trial invitation.
Why it works
- The benefit arrives immediately: the opening voice promises localization “in seconds,” while the person and brand name appear by about 0:01.
- The ad turns a broad claim into visible product evidence: by 0:02–0:03, one media card multiplies into several language versions; by 0:12–0:14, the interface shows a more detailed workflow.
- At 0:24–0:28, the UI gives way to a large multilingual result and a clean brand end card. The 0:24.3 replay bump coincides with that visual payoff.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | YouTube · 1280 × 720, 16:9 · 31.8 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 4 measured shots, 3 definite cuts · 5.7–9.4 cuts/min allowing two uncertain changes · 5 internal steps · 15.1 picture changes/min · mean measured shot 7.95 s. Numerous animated UI elements move within those holds. |
| Script | 73 spoken words · 145 wpm overall, 172 while speaking · 8 short sentences, 9.1 words each · one question · direct second-person address |
| Voice | One medium-register, energetic, friendly adult narrator; measured median 196 Hz and animated pitch movement. |
| On screen | Roughly 0:00–0:02 live-action presenter footage inside the ad, 0:02–0:18 product UI and motion graphics, 0:18–0:24 lifestyle footage with floating UI, 0:24–0:32 typographic result and brand mark. These are visual phases, not separate detected cuts. |
| Captions | No continuous subtitles. Short centered opening words over footage; the rest uses UI labels and large result typography. |
| Sound | Continuous soft tonal music-like bed, measured about 14.7 dB below the voice · −13.5 LUFS integrated · −0.6 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Benefit → timed promise → input → transformation → extra capability → outcome → call to action. Benefit at 0:00, product evidence by 0:02, CTA at 0:27. |
