Field notes / why it works
The first 2.5 seconds turn a near-black frame into a moving grip macro, then reveal the product name before showing the whole mouse. Seven clear shots pair each feature with a distinct proof image, including a software interface at 0:09.7–0:13.1; the strongest replay peak at 0:13.4–0:13.7 lands on the subsequent wheel close-up.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent-voice, music-led launch film sells the physical feel of a mouse through extreme close-ups, then briefly proves its controls in software, and ends with a hand using it. One small white phrase at a time names the product and benefits while the image supplies the explanation.
Why it works
- The first 2.5 seconds withhold the full object: a black opening turns into a moving, textured macro while “Introducing” and then the product name appear.
- Each benefit gets a distinct proof image: cushion around 0:04, buttons around 0:08, configuration UI around 0:11, wheel around 0:14, and quiet clicks around 0:18.
- The strongest replay peak, 0:13.4–0:13.7, lands on the wheel macro, immediately after the software screen. The close detail rewards inspection.
