Retro desktop mixtape launch
A music and beauty launch told through CRT screens, artist cards, physical disc imagery and a final streaming card.
Field notes / why it works
The opening changes a three-symbol clue into a CRT-contained reveal at frame 33, then names the release through the monitor and circular cover by shot 6. Real collaborator and product proof interrupt the composed desktop world, while shot 29's measured ×0.71 roll-and-scale collage builds a second visual peak before the readable action card begins at frame 1126.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
(inferred) A new release enters as a playful three-part symbol, becomes an object inside a retro desktop world, then proves itself through real collaborators and tactile media. Short spoken signposts hand the story back to footage, windows, packaging and large benefit cards before a direct listening action.
Why it works
- The first image gains an eye, lips and a smile, then shot 2 reveals those elements inside a floating monitor at frame 33.
- Shot 29 turns cover art, tiled windows and sleeve graphics into a sustained visual re-hook; its measured roll and scale changes are in plate 5.
- Shot 34 begins at frame 1126 and makes the action explicit with a large stacked line and repeating sleeves.

| Pace | 34 shots · median 1.04 s · hard cuts plus the measured flash, whip and zoom entries |

| Type | Eight measured cap-height levels, 16–443 px; readable text at least 22 px; mostly uppercase with snap or short slide builds |
