Field notes / why it works

The finished stadium illusion holds from 0:00 to 0:05.8, while the spoken question starts at 0:02.6; the cut to the real green-screen set at 0:05.8 answers one mystery and opens another. Seven rapid makeup shots from 0:23.4 to 0:31.9 give the process energy, while the visible set and lighting steps at 1:01–1:14.9 make the final composite at 1:14.9 feel earned.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

Show the apparently synthetic finished result first, then reveal that a human made it. Walk through a quick physical transformation and a simple compositing trick before returning to the result in its intended environment.

Why it works

  • The first 5.8 seconds show the convincing stadium image before explaining it; the spoken question begins only at 2.64 seconds.
  • The claim is settled at 5.8–7.0 seconds, but the production method stays open until the makeup, hair, wardrobe, green screen and lighting beats.
  • A rapid seven-shot makeup run at 23.4–31.9 seconds contrasts with an 18.37-second hair section, then the final composite arrives at 1:14.9.
