Seven-Drink Blind Cola Challenge
A seven-sample blind tasting keeps every option visible while reactions, revised guesses and a delayed score carry the two-minute story.
Field notes / why it works
The 0:00 frame shows the full seven-drink rig and a large test headline, making the challenge legible before the spoken rules end around 0:06. Numbered trials, a disgust turn at 0:34, and conflicting guesses at 0:46 create new questions within a mostly fixed set; green checks from 1:26 and the score near 1:50 delay closure.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A confident host claims expertise in a familiar category, faces seven concealed choices in one visible tabletop rig, tastes or tests them in sequence, revises guesses, and receives a delayed score. The lineup keeps the objective visible while the host's reactions supply the turns.
Why it works
- The first frame shows the host and all seven choices; the headline states the test before the spoken setup finishes at 0:06.
- Numbered trials create a progress signal; uncertainty at 0:13, disgust at 0:34 and conflicting guesses at 0:46 renew the question of how many will be right.
- The final answer begins around 1:41, after roughly 100 seconds of guesses; green checks start appearing at 1:26 and the claimed score lands around 1:50.
