Void deploy command becomes a music video
A product launch song turns a terminal command, fragmented developer tools, and a glowing brand motif into a 108-second motion film.
Field notes / why it works
A typed command is readable by 0:00.75, then expands into a glowing orb and wordmark by 0:02.75. The film makes workflow pain visible through agent, clock, token, browser, and service-card graphics by 0:30, before code imports and checked capabilities give the solution a concrete image at 0:32–0:38. One violet motif links the later portal, geometry, team graph, rapid 1:30–1:34 title burst, and final logo.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A bare terminal types a deployment command, which blooms into a violet product universe. A rhythmic vocal lists a developer's fragmented workflow; animated code, services, errors, and portals turn the complaint into a visual song before the brand returns. The post announces an open-source release, while the video itself sells the feeling of shipping faster.
Why it works
- The first second makes a tiny action legible: terminal prompt at 0:00,
void deployby 0:00.75, violet orb by 0:01.25, wordmark by 0:02.75. - The pain is pictured rather than described abstractly: agent swarm around 0:11, speed/clock at 0:15, token storm at 0:19, fragmented service cards at 0:27, then code imports and inferred components at 0:32–0:38.
- The visual motif survives several transformations: dot, portal, triangle, distributed nodes, error cluster, vortex, and final wordmark from 0:50 to 1:47.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 1:48.4 |
| Pace | 14 measured shots; 13 definite cuts, 7.2–10.0 cuts/min allowing 5 uncertain changes; 12 internal step changes; 13.8 definite picture changes/min; mean shot 7.74 s, median 5.77 s |
| Script | 192 transcribed words, with 31 low-confidence words; 106 wpm over the whole film, 143 wpm while vocalizing |
| Voice | One medium-register, highly animated, rhythmic male-sounding vocal (inferred); no on-camera speaker |
| On screen | Almost entirely motion graphics and kinetic type; a stylized browser and code interface around 0:23–0:50; no live action |
| Text | Sparse, large lyric keywords and brand typography; code/terminal labels act as proof; no continuous subtitle track |
| Sound | Continuous music-like bed, roughly 85 BPM; vocal nearly level with it; −15.6 LUFS integrated, −3.2 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | Command hook → escalating workflow pain → solution/code → chorus/portal → second pain verse → rapid title montage → logo and stop |
Toolkit for this film: Remotion for motion graphics; a licensed or generated music track; ElevenLabs or a recorded voice. Where the steps below name a single tool, use the toolkit instead.
Claude Code, make a new 108-second, 1280×720, 30 fps motion-design launch video for {{PRODUCT}} about {{CORE_ACTION}}. Use Remotion and export an H.264 MP4 with an original or licensed rhythmic electronic track near 85 BPM. Write original rhythmic vocal copy of about 190 words; record or synthesize a generic animated adult voice, never an imitation. Build these timed beats: 0:00–0:05, type {{ACTION_COMMAND}} on an almost-black screen and morph the cursor into {{BRAND_MOTIF}} and the product name; 0:05–0:30, increase visual density with a clock, cards, and three separate {{OLD_WORKFLOW_COMPONENTS}}; 0:30–0:49, show a legible code or UI proof of {{PRODUCT_RESULT}}, with capability icons gaining checks; 0:49–1:02, turn the motif into a circular chorus portal; 1:02–1:19, simplify an original geometric metaphor for {{OLD_COST}} versus {{NEW_BENEFIT}}; 1:19–1:30, show {{TEAM_SCALE}} and one last obstacle; 1:30–1:34, cut rapidly among four bold type layouts; 1:34–1:48, decelerate into the motif and final logo. Use near-black {{BACKGROUND_HEX}}, bright {{ACCENT_HEX}}, warm-white Inter Black headlines, and Space Mono for interface text. Keep labels sparse and readable; animate circles, masks, scale, and parallax on vocal stresses. Leave instrumental gaps for the opening and ending transformations, use subtle UI sounds, and mix near −15 LUFS with peaks below −3 dBFS. Include {{CTA_LINK}} only in the accompanying post copy.
