Eight directions, one selected result

A silent nine-second feature launch uses an eight-image gallery, a foreground selection, and a pink control switch to show choice becoming a result.

Field notes / why it works

Eight distinct outcomes are visible together from 0:00, so the feature's range reads immediately. The chosen tile comes forward by 0:06.3 and the pink control changes state around 0:07, creating a clear choice-to-result sequence inside one continuous shot. The post copy supplies the exact eight-or-sixteen and 2K-or-4K claims that the silent video does not state.

01

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A silent, landscape product microdemo shows eight colorful directions in one panel. One choice advances into a large foreground card while a two-state control flips, making selection feel immediate. The accompanying post supplies the explicit feature claim; the video itself demonstrates choice and selection without narration.

Why it works

  • At 0:00, all eight outcomes are visible at once in a clean 4 × 2 grid, so variety is understood before any explanation.
  • The selected top-left tile is lifted by 0:04.5 and is large by 0:06.3; scale change turns a gallery into a result without a cut.
  • At about 0:07, the pink active state moves on the floating control, adding a second visual event after the card reveal. The X copy, rather than the video, states the eight-or-sixteen choice and final resolution.

Mix: 100% composited graphic/interface demonstration. No people, camera footage, or screen-recorded cursor.

Rhythm: One continuous 9-second composition; the measured step changes occur at 5.95 and 7.05 seconds. The first 3 seconds have no detected cuts or step changes. Motion is concentrated in the object lift and state switch.

Rules inferred from the shot list: Keep all options visible before elevating a winner. Move the chosen object toward the viewer rather than replacing the whole scene. Leave the panel in place as dimmed context. End with a held result.

Plate 06 / Visual style guide

  • Look: Near-black background approximately #101010; rounded off-white image panel; lilac and violet artwork around #7651AC and #B292D0; bright mint around #50D7BA; hot-pink active control around #EA2AAE. Palette estimates are from the sheets. Small out-of-focus floating shapes provide depth outside the panel.
  • Captions: None. If your source images contain display lettering, use a free expressive face such as Anton or Archivo Black for large all-caps words and Inter for tiny interface labels; these are replacement choices, not verified source fonts.
  • Graphics and overlays: Eight edge-to-edge images, four columns and two rows, in a panel occupying roughly the middle 55% of frame width. The vertical black translucent pill overlaps the right edge; two rounded-square symbols stack inside it. Bright pink denotes the active state. One card gets a soft shadow and z-lift.
  • B-roll: None. Use original or licensed example outcomes for each tile.
  • Transitions: No cuts or dissolves. Use scale, translation, shadow, background dimming, and a control color switch.
  • Branding: The reference has example-specific poster lettering and iconography; a large standalone end logo is absent. Substitute {{PRODUCT}}'s own imagery and symbols.

Plate 07 / Voice and delivery

Measured: No audio track, speech, pauses, pitch, sentence endings, or words per minute.

Voice direction: None. Communicate through the result sequence and accompanying post text.

Plate 08 / Sound design

  • Music: None; the source file has no audio track.
  • Sound effects: None measured.
  • Silence and space: The whole video is silent. It remains understandable on autoplay with muted sound.
  • Mix targets: Not applicable to the reference. Export a silent stream or omit audio.

Plate 09 / Packaging

  • Title: Feature plus benefit: {{FEATURE}}: choose your favorite direction.
  • Cover / thumbnail: Use the opening 4 × 2 gallery with the vertical pink/black control crossing its right edge. It reads as multiple results in one view even at feed size.
  • Description: The reference post states uncertainty about the desired result, offers eight or sixteen directions from one prompt for one image's price, and says the choice can be finished at 2K or 4K. For a new product, state {{ONE_INPUT}}, {{N_OPTIONS}}, {{COST_OR_SPEED_BENEFIT}}, and {{FINAL_ACTION}} in your own words; keep claims true to your feature.
  • Audience signals: 855 views, 18 likes, one comment, and three reposts at capture. No replay map or comment text was supplied, so no audience preference can be inferred.

Plate 12 / Prompts

Script / storyboard prompt:

Create a silent 9-second visual storyboard for {{PRODUCT}} and its {{TOPIC}} feature. Show eight distinct outcomes from {{ONE_INPUT}} in the opening frame. At 4.5 seconds choose {{SELECTED_IMAGE}}; enlarge it while preserving the grid behind. At 7 seconds switch {{CONTROL_ICON}} to its active state and hold through the end. Add no spoken lines or explanatory video captions. Separately write one short social post that states the real number of choices, the cost or time benefit, and the final action. Describe original imagery and a palette suited to {{PRODUCT}}.

Voice prompt: None; silent format.

Visual prompts:

  • Gallery images: Eight original, distinct visual treatments of {{SUBJECT}}, with clearly varied composition and color, each readable as a small poster tile; deliver as separate assets, not one collage.
  • Selected result: The exact {{SELECTED_IMAGE}} design from the gallery, same crop and content, displayed as a crisp upright portrait card with a soft shadow.

Caption spec: No video captions. If tiny interface labels are needed, use Inter Medium in a color with clear contrast.

Music prompt: None; keep the source format silent.

13

Plate 13 / Edit recipe

  1. Create eight 4:5 or portrait outcome assets for {{TOPIC}}; make each distinctive even when reduced to a tile.
  2. Build a 1280 × 720 near-black canvas at 30 fps. Center a rounded 4 × 2 gallery and add two or three subtle blurred peripheral objects.
  3. Place a translucent black vertical two-state control so it overlaps the gallery's right edge; highlight its upper icon in {{ACCENT_COLOR}}.
  4. Animate the chosen top-left tile into a separate front layer from about 4.5 to 6.3 seconds. Scale and translate it toward center-right, add depth, and dim the gallery.
  5. At about 7 seconds, switch the active color to the lower icon. Hold the winning card to 9 seconds.
  6. Export H.264 at 1280 × 720, 30 fps, nine seconds, with no audio track. Pick an opening frame as the cover and write the feature claim in the post copy.
14

Plate 14 / QA checklist

  • All {{N_OPTIONS}} choices are visible in frame one and legible at feed size.
  • The first three seconds have no abrupt replacement; the selected tile remains traceable back to its original cell.
  • Selected card is prominent by about 6.3 seconds; control changes state at about 7 seconds.
  • The final state holds for at least one second.
  • The video makes sense silently; any claim not shown visually is stated accurately in the accompanying copy.
  • Output is 16:9, 1280 × 720, 30 fps, 8–10 seconds, with no audio track.
15

Plate 15 / Make it yours

  • Creator signature to replace: Purple sneaker artwork, poster lettering, pink branded icon, and the original app's exact control design.
  • Transferable format: Gallery of distinct outputs → selected tile lifted into a foreground card → active control state changes → held result, all inside one continuous composition.
  • Use {{PRODUCT}}'s own assets, accurate feature claims, and original icons.

Use Remotion to make a new 9-second, 1280x720, 30 fps silent feature-launch video for {{PRODUCT}} / {{TOPIC}}. Generate or accept eight original {{OPTION_IMAGES}} showing visibly different outcomes from one {{ONE_INPUT}}; never reuse the reference's sneaker imagery, poster designs, or icons. On a near-black #101010 canvas, center a rounded 4-by-2 image gallery with narrow gutters and a soft shadow. Use {{BRAND_PALETTE}} for the images and one vivid {{ACCENT_COLOR}} for selection. Add a slim translucent two-state pill overlapping the gallery's right edge, with simple original {{CONTROL_ICONS}}. From 0 to 4.5 seconds, hold the full grid while giving it subtle depth and a small selection cue. From 4.5 to 6.3 seconds, lift {{SELECTED_IMAGE}} out of its original cell into a larger upright foreground card near center-right; keep the same crop so viewers can track it, and dim the remaining grid. At 7 seconds, move the accent fill from the upper to the lower control state. Hold the finished selection through 9 seconds. Use smooth ease-out scale and translation, no cuts, no narration, no music, and no explanatory captions. Export H.264 MP4 and one opening-frame cover. Supply a separate social caption stating the true {{N_OPTIONS}}, {{COST_OR_SPEED_BENEFIT}}, and {{FINAL_ACTION}}.
