Jockey Video Intelligence Launch Film
A motion-led product introduction that turns a video library into a card ring, then proves the idea through two UI workflows.
Field notes / why it works
The 0:00–0:03 reveal grows a tiny black mark into a ring of colourful video cards while the voice states the product category by 0:05. Roughly 29 definite picture changes across 93 seconds keep a mostly continuous composition active. The film turns its abstract promise into visible inputs at 0:20–0:38, then two specific question-to-output workflows at 0:38–0:55 and 0:56–1:13.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A white-canvas launch film introduces a product that can understand a large body of media, demonstrates its inputs and reasoning, then shows two concrete workflows. A memorable visual metaphor—many small video cards arranged into a moving ring—keeps returning between restrained UI proofs.
Why it works
- The opening makes the category clear in one sentence by 0:05 while a tiny mark grows into the logo and a swarm of clips (0:00–0:08).
- Abstract capability becomes a sequence of visible actions: import at 0:20–0:31, infer relationships at 0:35–0:38, then make a campaign analysis at 0:38–0:55.
- A second product-team example begins at 0:56, extending the use case before the film condenses into a wall of footage (1:13–1:23) and a simple positioning card (1:29–1:33).

| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 93.1 s · 23.98 fps |
| Pace | Detector: 3 long composited shots, 2 cuts, 1.3–2.6 cuts/min allowing uncertain transitions. More useful rhythm: 29 definite picture changes, 18.7/min; average detected shot 31.03 s. |
| Script | 237 spoken words; 162 wpm overall, about 202 wpm while speaking; 15 sentences averaging 15.8 words; no questions. |
| Voice | One low-register, energetic, articulate narrator; no visible speaker. |
| On screen | Predominantly motion graphics and composed product UI; short live-action video thumbnails and montage inserts. No talking head. |
| Captions | No conventional subtitles. Sparse, meaningful headlines, labels, prompt text and UI copy in black sans serif. |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/music-like bed under speech, around 7.5 dB below it; measured −12.1 LUFS integrated, 0.1 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Identity → capability → inputs → understanding → workflow A → workflow B → positioning; final payoff at 1:29; no explicit CTA. |
