A Tiny Game Introduces Claude's Developer Home
A continuous capture of a pixel-art web game turns a developer-site announcement into a small interactive discovery.
Field notes / why it works
At 0:00, the huge dotted title, small orange avatar, and single cream start button make the interactive premise immediately clear. Play begins around 0:02.5, and small message-card discoveries near 0:12.6, 0:18.8, and 0:26.2 reward continued watching within one 30-second capture. The sparse near-black world makes each orange spark and cream card conspicuous.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A quiet, wide-screen game opens on a title and a single start button. One tiny character walks through a dark dotted landscape, finds small surprises, and ends on a brief thank-you card. The product announcement lives in the post copy and the branded corner of the experience; the video sells curiosity by letting the viewer watch play.
Why it works
- The frame at 0:00 is a complete invitation: giant dotted title, orange character, cream “Start game” button, and tiny site address. The viewer understands the interaction without narration.
- At about 0:02.5 the menu gives way to play; the sprite keeps moving through a continuous 30-second capture. Motion supplies the pacing despite zero cuts.
- Small reward cards appear around 0:12.6, 0:18.8, and 0:26.2. They make exploration, rather than a feature list, the reveal mechanism.

| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 30.0 s at 60 fps |
| Pace | 1 continuous shot · 0 cuts/min · 30 s measured shot length · 2 measured step changes, both around 0:12–0:14; character and scenery animate within the shot |
| Script | No reliable spoken script. The 26-word Swedish transcript is low confidence for 25 words and does not align with the English game UI. Treat it as an automatic transcription error. |
| Voice | No verified human speech; build this format for silent viewing. |
| On screen | 100% designed web-game capture: title/menu, side-scrolling play, small floating message cards |
| Captions | No subtitles. Brief in-world cards carry information. |
| Sound | Tonal bed detected; about −19.1 LUFS integrated and −1.4 dBFS true peak. Exact instrumentation is unverified. |
| Structure | Invitation → start → traverse → first discovery → second discovery → thank-you/continuation |
