Singing Ads: example-first feature launch
A musical ad cold open turns into a dark creation-flow demo, then a second proof ad and variant gallery.
Field notes / why it works
The first 9 seconds sell the output as a miniature musical story before the feature title appears. A 23.58-second UI sequence shows image input, generation, storyboard and editing, while a fast second ad at 0:32–0:37 and a many-variant wall around 0:49–0:52 make the claimed range concrete.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
This feature launch opens as an entertaining, fully formed musical ad, then reveals the creation workflow and a second ad with performance overlays. A wall of variants and a brief real-world viewing moment make the tool feel fast, repeatable and useful.
Why it works
- The opening gives the output before the product explanation: a dramatic sung predicament, character close-up and lyric text appear in the first 1.5 seconds.
- The title reveal at 0:08.3 is followed by roughly 24 seconds of prompt, audio, storyboard and edit interface, so the spectacle is tied to an observable workflow.
- The 0:32–0:37 proof sequence switches to a new product ad and rising spend/CTR cards, then 0:49–0:52 shows a grid of many creative variants.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 63.8 s · 1280 × 720 · 30 fps |
| Pace | 15 measured shots, 14 cuts; 13.2–20.7 cuts/min if uncertain changes are counted; 19.8 confirmed picture changes/min; mean shot 4.25 s, median 1.43 s |
| Script | Automated transcript: 50 captured words, 52 wpm overall, 127 wpm within detected speech. Singing is undercounted; do not use this as a full lyric budget. |
| Voice | Animated, theatrical sung male character; later, another bright ad jingle. No explanatory narrator is evident in the sheets. |
| On screen | About 14% animated mini-story and stage reveal, 37% dark UI workflow, 8% second ad example, 27% variant UI/gallery, 15% real-world viewing (rounded from shot times). |
| Captions | Lyrics/keywords are part of the ad creative; product workflow uses small UI labels. No continuous conventional subtitle track is visible. |
| Sound | Music-forward, roughly 99 BPM heuristic; sung hook and product jingles; no clear cut-hit effect pattern. Measured −18.9 LUFS integrated, −3.0 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | 5 macro beats: finished example → title → workflow → proof ad → variants and viewing. The product title lands at 0:08.3; examples return at 0:32.4 and 0:49.3. |
