Satellite Risk, Mapped at Scale

A cinematic company launch moves from disaster stakes to a legible satellite-risk product demonstration.

Field notes / why it works

The product is announced in the first second, then 12 cuts in the first 10 seconds turn an abstract insurance problem into visible storms and properties. A giant 97% claim around 0:22 gives the gap scale; from about 0:32 to 0:50, longer interface and 3D-map holds make the product claim inspectable.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A founder-like presenter announces a product in the first second, then turns a large, visual problem into a specific business failure. Fast editorial footage and keyword typography build urgency; an interface demonstration arrives after the problem is established, then the film widens to a mission-scale ending.

Why it works

  • The promise is immediate: the presenter speaks from frame one and a white brand mark resolves by about 0:01, before a skyline cut at 0:01.8.
  • The first 10 seconds contain 12 cuts, using disaster images, property footage, and small serif word fragments to give the abstract risk a physical setting.
  • A large “97%” at about 0:22.3 makes the gap concrete; the first sustained product proof follows at about 0:32–0:50.
