The Feature-Ship Bottleneck
A 35-second office skit turns a new-feature backlog into a prompt-to-video product reveal and quiet closing claim.
Field notes / why it works
Three cuts in the first 3 seconds establish an office exchange and a freshly shipped feature. The new colleague at 0:13.6 resets the scene, a monitor change at 0:22.6 supplies product proof, and the 6-second end card leaves one readable promise. The 14-shot structure gives a reusable progression from speed mismatch to visible resolution.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A lightly comic, three-person workplace scene makes a fast upstream task collide with a slower downstream task. A colleague turns that worry into a quick, visible prompt-to-result demonstration, then a plain end card states the broader product promise.
Why it works
- The first 3 seconds show the workspace, introduce two speakers and establish that a feature has shipped; three early cuts make the exchange feel underway.
- The problem becomes concrete by 0:12, and a new colleague interrupts it at 0:14. The 1.98-second speech gap around 0:07 adds awkward space before the next request.
- The product is shown on a monitor from about 0:18.5–0:23.7, with an interface change at 0:22.6; the final 6 seconds leave the viewer with one simple line on a clean card.
