Slides That Open Their Evidence
A silent walkthrough of an interactive research deck whose figures open source panels and recalculate when controls move.
Field notes / why it works
A bold opening promise becomes visible proof as three KPIs count up within the first 1.5 seconds. A click opens a source drawer around 0:03–0:05, then a threshold change and scenario control reshape different charts around 0:10–0:18. Nine in-shot steps keep the 30.9-second, five-shot screen recording active without narration.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A dense business report becomes a smooth, clickable slide deck. The opening promises that viewers can inspect the evidence behind each headline figure; the rest proves it by opening a data drawer, adjusting a scenario control, and ending on the whole five-page deck.
Why it works
- The first 1.5 seconds pair a bold Japanese promise with figures counting up from zero, so the deliverable is visible before any explanation.
- At roughly 2.9–5.2 seconds, a click expands a right-hand evidence drawer with a line chart and bars; the feature is demonstrated rather than merely claimed.
- Around 13.4–24.0 seconds, successive slides show a flow diagram, a scenario result, and an alternate breakdown. Each interaction gives the eye a fresh job despite only five measured shots.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 30.9 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 5 measured shots; 4 measured cuts = 7.8/min, or up to 17.5/min including uncertain changes; 9 in-shot steps; 25.3 total picture changes/min; mean shot 6.17 s |
| Script | No spoken script, 0 wpm. Headlines, labels, figures, and two explanatory overlays carry the message. |
| Voice | None; no people appear. |
| On screen | 100% designed screen recording: report slides, controls, charts, drawers, and gallery. |
| Captions | No speech captions. Opening uses a large white Japanese headline over a dark lower gradient; interaction hints use a small white-on-charcoal pill near the bottom. |
| Sound | No audio track, music, effects, or voice. |
| Structure | Promise → count-up overview → evidence drill-down → scenario changes → five-page overview → article CTA. |
