Field notes / why it works

The first 2.75 seconds build a spoken question through giant word cards, then reverse from dark to turquoise on the topic at 1.25 seconds. Four colorful course examples at 7–10 seconds broaden the offer; phone screens from 14.7–49 seconds prove lessons, AI help, exercises, review, and rankings. Thirty shots plus eight in-shot changes keep the 55.7-second feature tour moving.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A spoken question asks how to learn a practical skill in a changed world. Giant, one to three word Arabic cards make the opening readable at scroll speed; a sequence of course tiles and close phone mockups then proves the lessons, exercises, review, and community before an app availability card.

Why it works

  • The first 2.75 seconds reveal the question in successive word cards, with the central topic switching to black on bright turquoise at 1.25 seconds. The viewer can understand the premise even muted.
  • At 7.3–10 seconds, three vivid example course cards replace a broad promise with recognizable subjects; at 14.7, 19.9, and 25 seconds the video begins showing actual UI.
  • The middle keeps changing the kind of proof: AI help at 16.8–24 seconds, quizzes and code exercises at 25–37 seconds, review and rankings at 39–49 seconds. These are visible benefits rather than a single prolonged phone tour.

Platform · aspect · lengthX · 720×1280 (9:16) · 55.7 s · 30 fps
Pace30 detected shots, 29 cuts, 31.3 cuts/min; eight changes within shots make 39.9 picture changes/min. Mean shot 1.85 s; median 1.17 s.
ScriptArabic, 112 measured words, 128 wpm overall and 131 while speaking; speech covers 94%. The automatic transcript merges many spoken clauses into one sentence, so its sentence count is unreliable.
VoiceOne close, energetic adult masculine narrator in a medium register; conversational Gulf Arabic delivery (inferred from the speech).
On screenPredominantly designed typography and graphics, roughly two thirds of runtime; phone UI and course-card proof occupy roughly one third. No live presenter shot in the promo.
CaptionsGiant synchronized keywords and clause fragments, usually centered; this is headline typography, not a full verbatim subtitle track.
SoundQuiet, continuous tonal bed measured about 17.7 dB below voice; transient accents coincide with many cuts (inferred effects). −15.7 LUFS integrated, −2.6 dBFS true peak.
StructureQuestion → inefficient alternative → subject breadth → interactive learning → AI tutor → checks and coding exercises → daily review/community → download CTA.
