One button becomes an interface
A 14-second square UI motion loop turns one clicked button into a sequence of functional components and back again.
Field notes / why it works
A single centered button gets a clear cursor trigger by 0.5 seconds, then contracts into a loader and grows into a player by 1.5 seconds. The uninterrupted 14-second shot makes five measured step changes feel like one evolving object, while the chart reveal around 9.2 seconds and return to the opening button by 13.2 seconds reward continued viewing and enable a loop.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A black pill button on a quiet off-white square canvas invites a click. That one shape appears to generate a succession of working interface components, ending where it began. The promise is visual: {{PRODUCT}} can turn one small action into a whole system.
Why it works
- The opening button is readable at 0:00, then cursor contact and a loader arrive within the first second; the viewer understands the cause of the motion without narration.
- One continuous 14.02-second shot and zero hard cuts make each new state feel like a transformation of the last, including the player at 0:02.00–0:02.75 and chart card by 0:09.50.
- The final return to the starting button at 0:13.20 makes replay feel continuous (inferred); the captured post had 1,038,276 views.
