Silent card duel with enforced rules
A 49-second silent gameplay capture proves a card-duel system through animated plays, phase changes, and an opponent response.
Starter prompt / by Refs
The creator shared no short prompt. This is ours for making a film like it with Claude.
Code a two-player monster card duel in the style of Yu-Gi-Oh as one HTML file. Implement a real rules engine (draw, main and battle phases, normal and tribute summons, spells, traps, life points), a computer opponent that only makes legal moves, and a save format that can resume from any game state. Animate every state change: draws, flips, summons, attacks and ticking life-point counters. Use a dark, gold-trimmed board tilted in perspective, then record a 50-second match at 1920×1080 with headless Chrome and ffmpeg.
Field notes / why it works
The first card interaction appears by 0:00.6, and three state changes occur within the first three seconds. A locked wide view keeps choices and consequences in the same frame while roughly 32 picture changes per minute come from cards, effects, and phase shifts; the opponent handoff around 0:24 demonstrates that the system reacts beyond the player's inputs.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, wide screen recording drops viewers into an already active fantasy card duel. The promise is behavioral: cards can be played, effects resolve, phases advance, an opponent responds, and the board keeps its state. The viewer learns the system by watching inputs cause legible changes rather than through narration or editorial labels.
Why it works
- The first board interaction starts by 0:00.6; the first three seconds contain three visible changes and no introduction.
- A mostly continuous view keeps the entire board, hand, controls, and life totals in frame, so the viewer can follow each move's consequence.
- An effect burst around 0:08 and phase/turn shifts around 0:19.9 and 0:29.3 refresh attention without camera cuts.

| Pace | 2 shots, 1 cut (1.2 cuts/min); 25 within-shot steps, about 31.8 picture changes/min; mean shot 24.5 s |
| Script | 0 spoken words; the interface and interaction provide the information |
| Voice | None |
| On screen | About 100% screen-recorded interactive board; fixed oblique view, no presenter |
