Field notes / why it works
The locked window frame and recurring glass make the evolving world easy to follow across all 78 seconds, from fields at 0:03.9 to a night city by 0:19.5. A passing train at 0:31.2, fireworks around 0:42.9, and a pale reset at 0:52.9 keep refreshing the image without a cut. Rain at 1:09.5 resolves into a rainbow after 1:13.8, giving the quiet visual journey a final payoff.

A locked, rounded window becomes a miniature stage for a journey from warm daylight through city night and water to a fresh morning. A glass of water on the sill stays in place while the world beyond it transforms. The video makes its visual promise immediately: keep watching this one view to see where time and travel take it.
Why it works
- The fixed window and glass make each new scene legible against an unchanged foreground; the shift from fields at 0:03.9 to a city by 0:19.5 feels like travel within one continuous shot.
