A Prompt Becomes a 3D Battle Map
A phone screen recording jumps from a Claude request to an interactive, animated 3D battle map with a cinematic timeline.
Field notes / why it works
The request becomes legible at 0:01 and a working map arrives at 0:03.7, making the transformation easy to judge. Night-to-day shifts at 0:05.8–0:12.5, then troop motion and giant phase labels at 0:15–0:23, show that the artifact has depth beyond a static render. Twelve detected shots over 28 seconds keep the demo moving while its persistent controls signal interactivity.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A vertical phone recording shows a short natural-language request in an AI chat, briefly waits, then reveals a working, mobile-sized 3D historical battle map. A gliding overhead camera, troop tiles, advancing arrows, phase titles, time labels, and playback controls turn the generated result into a miniature cinematic demonstration.
Why it works
- The request is readable by about 0:01; the resulting web page appears at 0:03.7, making the prompt-to-result jump the central proof.
- At 0:05.8–0:12.5, the same map switches from a dark opening phase to daylight and then into the first major action, showing both visual range and time-based behavior.
- The view accelerates through large labels and moving unit formations around 0:15–0:23. The motion measurement peaks at 92.9% frame change in 0:15–0:20, despite only 12 detected shots.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 592×1280 source, approximately 9:19.5 vertical · 28.0 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 12 detected shots, 11 definite cuts, 23.6 cuts/min; uncertain motion events raise the possible rate to 64.3/min. Mean shot 2.33 s; median 2.69 s. |
| Script | No spoken script. The opening chat request is two compact Japanese lines; subsequent text is short phase titles, labels, and small scene notes. |
| Voice | None. No person appears. |
| On screen | About 13% AI-chat screen and 87% recorded interactive web map, by timeline. |
| Captions | No speech captions. Large white Japanese serif phase titles over the map; tiny white/gold interface labels and blue/red/yellow unit markers. |
| Sound | Very quiet, noise-like bed at −25.3 LUFS integrated; likely cut accents (inferred). No speech. |
| Structure | Request → loading proof → map reveal → phase progression → rapid tactical payoffs → late-phase coda. No CTA. |
