Mintlify MDX feature cards and editor proof
A 33-second silent software launch that alternates sparse benefit cards with readable interface demonstrations.
Field notes / why it works
The opening makes a two-part promise in one 3.1-second dark card, with text visible by 0:00.25 and a contextual turn near 0:01.75. From 0:04.8 to 0:30.4, short sage feature cards repeatedly lead into 2.1–4.0-second white interface proof, giving each claim a visible payoff before the 0:30.4 install CTA.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led software announcement makes a two-part promise in the first three seconds: an attractive tool inside the viewer's existing workflow. It then pairs each feature claim with a clean interface demonstration, moving between a muted colour card and a white product canvas.
Why it works
- The hook becomes legible by 0:00.25 and changes its second clause at about 0:01.75, so one 3.1-second shot makes both the product promise and its context.
- Four claim/proof pairs from 0:04.8 to 0:30.4 give viewers a predictable rhythm and a reason to watch the next demonstration.
- The copy stays short while interface shots hold 2.1–4.0 seconds; the viewer can actually inspect the proof. The install ask comes only after those demonstrations, at 0:30.4.
