Foldable phone reveals an adaptive Expo interface
A silent, single-shot feature reveal turns a folding phone animation into proof of a responsive app layout.
Field notes / why it works
The folding device masks the app for the first three seconds, then resolves into a landscape dashboard at about 0:03. Interface changes at 0:04.35 and 0:05.95 show navigation and workflows, turning a visual reveal into practical feature proof within one silent 10-second shot.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A premium device render opens on a near-white stage. As the hardware changes shape, a real-looking dark product interface becomes visible, then demonstrates that it adapts to the new layout. The video sells a feature by making the physical transition and software response one event.
Why it works
- The initial silver phone back hides the app while a second dark screen peeks out; the gradual reveal across 0:00–0:02.75 creates a visual question without text.
- At about 0:03, the device reaches landscape and the dashboard fills the frame: the hardware move resolves into software proof.
- New interface states at about 0:04.35 and 0:05.95 (navigation drawer, then workflow list) extend the proof inside a single 10-second shot.
