A Creator Meets His AI Twin
A 45-second feature launch turns a lookalike into three comic use cases, then proves the workflow in the product UI.
Field notes / why it works
The 0:00 face-to-face double and delayed answer create an immediate visual question while the first shot holds 4.04 seconds. Three distinct interruptions between 0:04 and 0:27 make the need concrete and escalate into a visual joke. At about 0:28 the film switches to avatar, script, generation, editing and publishing UI, so the 0:39 benefit claim has visible product proof behind it.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A polished, lightly comic launch film personifies a product capability as a second version of its user. A face-to-face question opens a curiosity gap; three everyday recording conflicts show why the capability matters; then a short UI walkthrough proves how to use it and a simple line states the outcome.
Why it works
- At 0:00, two near-identical people face each other in one shot. The audience must resolve which one is real, before the feature is explained at 0:27.6.
- The airport (0:04–0:11), doctor's office (0:11–0:18) and barbershop (0:18–0:27) repeat the same obstacle with escalating visual jokes. A product promise gains three concrete use cases.
- The film shifts from staged scenes to the actual creation flow at about 0:28–0:39: avatar selection, script entry, generation and editing. The closing 0:39–0:43 scene puts the user back at a microphone, turning feature steps into a benefit.
