Lumi founder launch and product walkthrough
An 83-second founder-led launch that turns an adoption problem into a stepwise agent demonstration.
Field notes / why it works
A direct founder claim begins at 0:00, gains a scale figure around 0:04, and names the adoption bottleneck at 0:10. The film converts abstract product claims into visible steps: goal at 0:33, behavior evidence at 0:40, procedure at 0:53, and reporting at 1:07. Although it has only 13 measured shots, 18 changes within shots keep the long interface sequence progressing.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A founder archetype opens outdoors with a credibility claim, names a broad workflow problem, then hands the film to illustrated and interface-based proof. The product is explained as a four-step process: set a goal, inspect user behavior, decide an action, report the result. The presenter returns only when the mechanism has been made concrete, and a spare brand card closes with the URL.
Why it works
- The first line claims relevant experience immediately; a concrete scale figure appears by 0:04, before the problem is named at 0:10.
- Visuals track the nouns: an old computer for the legacy problem at 0:08, competing software interfaces at 0:15–0:19, an agent diagram at 0:22–0:30, then a goal form and behavior table at 0:33–0:50.
- The 33.75-second interface section at 0:38.8 keeps moving through seven internal reveals, culminating in procedure, outreach and reporting rather than sitting on one screenshot.

| Pace | 13 measured shots · 12 cuts, or 8.7–9.4 cuts/min allowing one uncertain change · 21.7 total picture changes/min · mean shot 6.38 s, median 3.38 s |
| Script | 235 spoken words · 171 wpm overall, 206 wpm while speaking · 15 sentences averaging 15.7 words · no questions · 4.7 instances of “you” per 100 words |
| Voice | Direct, animated founder archetype · medium register · clear explanatory urgency |
| On screen | Roughly one fifth presenter and four fifths designed proof/interface by duration (estimated from sheets); live-action bookends and intervening graphics |
| Captions | Full-phrase yellow subtitles, bottom center, thin dark edge/shadow; interface copy stays in its own UI |
| Sound | Continuous quiet tonal bed (music-like, inferred), roughly 14.5 dB below speech; no clear cut-synchronized effects |
