Cloud Browser Task to Merged PR
A sparse launch film turns one browser-agent task into a visible GitHub pull request and merge.
Field notes / why it works
The white 'Introducing...' card withholds the name until about 0:02, then eight filmed UI shots turn the launch claim into a concrete task. A PR appears around 0:27 and the purple merged state by 0:39; six measured in-shot changes make that final proof legible without a rapid-cut montage.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A restrained 16:9 launch film opens with a two-second name reveal, then shows a cloud browser handling a developer task. The payoff is visible in a GitHub pull request and its merge; the closing card turns that specific action into a broader product promise.
Why it works
- The bare “Introducing...” card at 0:00–0:02 creates a short curiosity gap before the product name appears. The opening does not require sound.
- The film shows a cause-and-effect chain: product setup at 0:05–0:17, task input at 0:20, PR evidence at 0:27, and merge at 0:34–0:40.
- The late sequence accelerates without frantic cutting: six measured changes within shots, most concentrated from 0:26–0:38, let the viewer read each consequential UI state.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 46.0 s at 29.97 fps |
| Pace | 10 shots, 9 cuts, 11.8 cuts/min; mean shot 4.59 s; 6 measured internal changes, about 19.6 measured picture changes/min |
| Script | No spoken product script. A speech model returned 23 low-confidence words from what appears to be music; do not use its 66 wpm as narration pace. |
| Voice | No visible speaker or reliable spoken narration; possible sung vocal in the music (inferred). |
| On screen | About 12% opener and product mark, 75% filmed laptop and tight UI inserts, 13% closing typography (estimated from shot times). No people. |
| Captions | None. The opening, interface and end card carry the message. |
| Sound | Quiet tonal, music-like bed; no clear cut-synced effects. Measured source audio is unusually low at −37.7 LUFS integrated. |
| Structure | Name reveal → product setup → task → PR/result → merge → brand statement; payoff at 0:34–0:40, no explicit spoken CTA. |
