FLUX Video Upscale proof montage
A 42-second upscale launch film uses rapid, varied split comparisons and sparse white title cards to show 2K/4K capability.
Field notes / why it works
A kinetic cockpit image grabs attention at 0:00, and the 2K/4K promise appears after the first cut at 1.7 seconds. The 16-shot sequence tests different subjects and conditions while a repeated vertical seam makes comparison the visual grammar; a benefit card at 9.6 seconds and availability card at 36.5 seconds give the montage clear turns.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
An announcement opens inside a high-motion hero scene, then states the product and output specification at 1.7 s. It spends nearly the whole runtime showing contrasting scenes with a thin central comparison seam, interrupts the montage once with a two-benefit headline, and closes with availability and a logo.
Why it works
- The opening establishes spectacle before explanation: cockpit footage fills frame 0, a single large word carries the hook, and the feature is named by 1.7 s.
- The proof spans faces, fur, dark interiors, movement, smoke, crowds, and small textures from 4.1–36.5 s; these are visibly different test cases for an image-quality claim.
- The repeated vertical divider makes the footage readable as a comparison while 16 shots and a typical 2–3 s hold keep the examples moving.

| Element | Reference |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · approximately 16:9, measured 1308×720 · 42.1 s at 30 fps |
| Pace | 16 detected shots; 15 detected cuts; 21.4–35.6 possible cuts/min including uncertain motion; mean shot 2.63 s, median 2.45 s |
| Script | No spoken words; three short headline phases: opening word, capability, benefit pair, then availability |
| Voice | None; no presenter or narration |
| On screen | Full-bleed moving image montage, often in a split comparison; one black logo end card |
| Text | White centered geometric sans, no subtitle stream; a small white logo sits at bottom left during footage |
| Sound | Tonal music-like bed, rough 129 BPM; measured −9.8 LUFS integrated, 1.0 dBFS true peak |
| Structure | 0–1.7 hook; 1.7–9.6 capability/examples; 9.6–13.9 benefit reset; 13.9–36.5 comparison montage; 36.5–39.1 CTA; 39.1–42.1 logo |
