Clips Launch: From Long Video to Social Cuts
A silent feature launch that turns one interview into ranked, reframed, ready-to-share clips through polished UI motion.
Field notes / why it works
The first 14.2 seconds build a complete input-to-output story inside one evolving canvas: source interview, candidate strip, ranking grid, and cleaned vertical result. Later beats prove separate benefits with a before/after crop at 0:15, selectable tonal variants at 0:20, a broad clip mosaic at 0:27, and a share-ready output at 0:32. The near-black and teal look, white type, fine frames, and final 0:34–0:38 brand card make the many UI states feel like one coherent launch.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, 16:9 product launch film announces a tool for turning long footage into social clips. It moves from a restrained title reveal to a concrete input/output demonstration, then stacks distinct feature proofs, a many-use-cases montage, and a short availability card.
Why it works
- The name is readable by 0:01.0, but its fine-line frame, logo, and first footage reveal keep unfolding through 0:03.6.
- One long opening canvas (0:00–0:14.2) shows the whole workflow: source interview, generated candidates, ranking, and cleaned vertical output. This makes the later claims legible without narration.
- The next 20 seconds change visual mode for each benefit: reframing at 0:15.7, tonal variants at 0:20–0:21, content diversity at 0:27.2, and publishing at 0:31.8.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 37.8 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 6 measured shots, 5 cuts, 7.9 cuts/min; 7 detected internal steps, 19 picture changes/min total; mean shot 6.3 s, median 4.58 s. Continuous animation creates additional movement within holds. |
| Script | No spoken words; about one short headline or benefit per visual beat. Text is the narration. |
| Voice | None. People appear inside example footage, but no speech was detected. |
| On screen | Designed dark canvas and composited product UI throughout; live-action interview/creator footage appears inside UI crops and a late mosaic. |
| Captions | No dialogue captions; white sans feature headlines, with selective pink keyword emphasis. |
| Sound | Tonal, music-like bed, roughly 99 BPM (measurement confidence 0.58); −10.4 LUFS integrated, 0.9 dBFS measured true peak. No clearly established cut SFX. |
| Structure | 6 beats: title → source-to-clips proof → intelligent framing → selectable tone → content range → export/end card. Product payoff appears by ~0:07; destination lands by 0:35. |
