From install command to coding agent prompt

An 11-second, one-shot terminal demo types an install command, opens fx, and enters a first task in a spare black UI.

Field notes / why it works

The command begins forming by 0.5 seconds and completes at about 2.75 seconds, so the action starts before a title or explanation. One fixed terminal frame carries installation, a ready CLI at 5.7 seconds, and a small test prompt by 7.6 seconds, turning each new line into proof of progress. The sparse black frame keeps attention on the few characters that change.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A dark, wide terminal becomes the entire stage. A command types itself, completes installation, opens the tool, and takes a tiny test request. The promise is practical: a developer can get from a shell prompt to using {{PRODUCT}} in seconds. The post caption supplies the fuller launch claim; the video supplies a compact proof of use.

Why it works

  • The first 2.75 seconds turn an empty prompt into a complete install command, creating a clear task before any narration or title.
  • The same locked window holds for all 11.4 seconds, so each new line feels like progress through one uninterrupted workflow.
  • By 5.7 seconds the product interface is visible; by 7.6 seconds a simple request appears. The demo moves from setup to interaction within eight seconds.
