One Command to Connect Coding Agents

A silent feature launch turns a typed setup command into proof of model choice and usage control on a sparse black canvas.

Field notes / why it works

The promise builds word by word and is complete by 1.25 s, then a typed command and connected-state line provide visible proof by 7.6 s. Sparse benefit cards at 10.2 and 18.5 s reset attention before a model menu at 15.2 s and a detailed usage table at 22.7 s; the fixed black, white, and charcoal system keeps each proof step coherent.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A silent, widescreen feature announcement promises a simpler workflow in two lines of type, shows one command completing that workflow, then switches to evidence of choice and control. Its engine is a sequence of increasingly concrete proof: claim → command → success state → available options → usage data.

Why it works

  • The opening line finishes by 1.25 s, so the benefit is legible before any product UI appears at about 2 s.
  • The terminal holds from roughly 2–10 s long enough for the typed command and connected-state line to serve as proof, not decoration.
  • At 10.2 s and 18.5 s, spare benefit cards reset the visual rhythm before model selection and a dense usage table at 22.7 s.

PaceMeasured as one continuous composition, 0 detected cuts/min, 2 detected large internal changes (4 picture changes/min); several smaller text and UI states are visible between sampled frames. Mean detected shot length 30.33 s.
ScriptNo spoken script. About 2 s to form the opening promise; one short benefit card around 10 s, another around 18 s.
VoiceNone; automated speech metrics in the facts are artifacts of the music/other audio.
On screenBlack typography cards, a stylized terminal, a model-choice view, and a compact usage table. No presenter.
CaptionsNone. All text is designed title, terminal, or UI text.
SoundContinuous quiet tonal/electronic bed (music-like, roughly 121 BPM); −19.5 LUFS integrated, −4.9 dBFS true peak. Individual effects are not established by the sheets.
StructureFive beats: promise, command/result, choice, budget/control, usage proof; no visible or spoken CTA.
