A battle scene directed inside Flow Studio
A cinematic fantasy scene becomes a proof-led tour of 3D editing, performance transfer, and Canvas refinement.
Field notes / why it works
A silent, nearly 10-second raven hold gives way to a sudden battlefield, creating strong contrast before the first voice line at 0:18. The middle repeatedly connects a creative choice to an on-screen tool and a changed result: camera at 0:35–0:51, location/performance at 0:51–1:23, and Canvas refinement at 1:24–1:38. A rapid combat montage from 1:38 makes the final claim at 1:55 feel demonstrated rather than merely stated.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A miniature cinematic story creates a production problem, then a playful character-director uses a visible 3D editor and Canvas to fix it. The audience gets spectacle first, watches actual controls during the middle, and sees the upgraded scene at the end. The product promise becomes explicit only at 1:55–2:00, after the demonstration has earned it.
Why it works
- A raven studies the ground for nearly 10 seconds with no speech or cut; the first sudden battle cut at 0:10 makes the quiet opening feel purposeful.
- The film repeatedly pairs an instruction with proof: choose a camera move at 0:35–0:49, change a location at 0:51–1:00, bring in performances at 1:01–1:23, then refine an enemy through Canvas at 1:24–1:37.
- The 1:38–1:55 combat montage compresses many short shots before a restrained value line and product card at 1:55–2:03. The payoff is visual before it is verbal.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9, 1280×720 · 126.1 s · 23.98 fps |
| Pace | 40 measured shots, 39 cuts · 18.6–28.5 possible cuts/min including uncertain flashes/motion · 26.2 definite picture changes/min including in-shot changes · mean shot 3.15 s, median 2.06 s |
| Script | 131 spoken words · 73 wpm across the whole film, about 164 wpm while speaking · 23 short sentences, mean 5.7 words |
| Voice | Animated, medium-register, self-amused character-director; dry comic confidence |
| On screen | Roughly 65% rendered story/results, 25% editor or Canvas capture, 10% source-performance/studio material and brand cards (visual estimate) |
| Captions | No speech subtitles visible; native UI labels and one large final claim only |
| Sound | Continuous tonal bed; rough beat estimate 179 BPM, low confidence. Cut accents are not consistently louder; measured −15.8 LUFS integrated. |
| Structure | Silent story hook → character/director setup → iterative controls → action payoff → claim and product card → comic tag |
