Field notes / why it works

The mark starts resolving after a cut at 0.23 seconds, and three 1.27-second metric cards at 2.77–6.57 seconds establish concrete scale. A 3.6-second event reveal begins at 9.37 seconds, then the prize, date, and final 2.7-second URL hold turn that attention into an action.

Plate 01 / The format in one breath

A compact, music-driven event announcement: a logo assembles, three large audience numbers establish scale, an identity statement names the community, and event, reward, date, and URL follow. The viewer only learns what is being promoted after the social-proof run, around 0:09–0:13.

Why it works

  • The first cut arrives at 0.23 s; the emblem and its name finish forming by 1.75 s, giving an otherwise dark opening movement.
  • Three full-frame metrics appear in successive 1.27 s shots from 2.77–6.57 s: 47,000, 14,500, and 96,000. Each number has a small source label.
  • The concrete event payoff arrives at 9.37 s, followed by a $5,000 prize at 13.0 s and an August 3 date at 15.33 s. The final URL holds for about 2.7 s.
