Magnific's Floating Editor Plugin Launch
A 16-second silent plugin announcement turns floating media cards into focused stock, generation, and edit interfaces.
Field notes / why it works
A huge category title gives way to an active collage by 0.25 seconds, making the integration feel tangible before the 1.25-second 'now inside' promise. Host names cycle around 2–4 seconds, then the composition narrows into stock search at 6.6, generation at 8.3, and editing at 9.9 seconds. The measured two shots hide a substantial amount of continuous UI choreography, which is the reusable technique.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, 16-second launch film announces a creative tool inside familiar editing software. A branded opening turns into a floating workspace of clips and controls; short text labels identify compatibility, then the film shows stock search and image editing before ending on a small logo. The promise appears by about 1.25 s: the viewer can use the tool inside the editor.
Why it works
- The 0–0.12 s title establishes the product category, then a dense field of moving media cards replaces it by 0.25 s. This creates an immediate visual reset.
- The compatibility line changes host names around 2–4 s while the same animated workspace stays in view. One repeatable composition conveys several integrations.
- The film moves from a capability claim to visible interfaces: stock search at 6.6 s, generation around 8.3 s, and an Edit panel around 9.9 s.
