Krea 2's object-led open-weights reveal
A 24-second silent launch film turns two model variants into tactile objects and ends with paired crayon use cases.
Field notes / why it works
The opening types from a two-letter fragment into a product reveal and makes the release clear by 0:02.75. A wrench at 0:08 and turbine at 0:10 give the two variants distinct silhouettes, then paired crayon cards at 0:17 and 0:20 turn their names into actions. The warm-white palette and sparse black type make the changes easy to follow in one continuous scene.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, 24-second landscape launch film presents a release as a set of off-white industrial objects in a bright studio. A few black words name the announcement; a tool and a turbine give the two variants distinct visual identities; the final hand-drawn examples translate those variants into uses.
Why it works
- The first 2.75 seconds turn a single typed word into a labelled case and a clear category claim, creating a reveal without a hard cut.
- The visual system stays consistent from case (0:01–0:03) to wrench (0:08) to turbine (0:10–0:14), so abstract model variants become easy to distinguish.
- At 0:17 and 0:20, rough, colorful drawings break the monochrome product imagery and turn the two labels into memorable actions.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9 · 1280×720 · 30 fps · 24.0 s |
| Pace | One continuous designed scene by the detector; 0 detected cuts/min; 3 detected internal steps at 0:02.2, 0:07.8 and 0:13.4 (7.5/min). Continuous text typing, object travel and reframing add motion between those steps. |
| Script | On-screen announcement and labels only. The speech transcript is unusable: a low-confidence recognition of “5.0%” in an unrelated language. |
| Voice | No intelligible speaker established; design for silent comprehension. |
| On screen | Off-white product objects and clean typography for roughly the first 17 s; illustrated examples for the final roughly 7 s. |
| Captions | None. Black launch copy and small object labels serve as the information layer. |
| Sound | Rhythmic music bed detected around 121 BPM; integrated −16.4 LUFS, true peak −3.8 dBFS. Specific instruments and effects are unverified. |
| Structure | Typed announcement → object reveal → first variant → second variant → two use-case cards; payoff starts at 0:17; no in-video CTA is visible. |
