The Trial Behind Move Prover
A word-light animated trial turns a technical verification claim into a cinematic proof reveal and spare product cards.
Field notes / why it works
The first 4 seconds establish an enormous trial setting around a tiny subject, creating a visual question without narration. Fourteen internal changes keep two long story shots developing; glowing glyphs and a clear approval image around 0:24–0:41 make the abstract proof visible. The abrupt cream and coral cards from about 0:41 turn the story into a compact product claim and logo.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A small object faces a mysterious, high-stakes trial in a cinematic fantasy world. The audience watches the test before learning that the ritual is a metaphor for a technical product. The final 13 seconds translate spectacle into a three-card product claim.
Why it works
- The first four seconds show a huge desert fortress and a tiny point of interest, establishing scale and withholding the test.
- Two long story shots (0:04–0:28 and 0:28–0:46) contain 14 internal picture changes, so the scene develops without frantic cutting.
- At about 0:41 the image switches to plain editorial text; product name and benefit follow at about 0:46–0:51. The sharp change makes the abstract story resolve into a specific promise.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9, 1280×720 · 54.6 s at 24 fps |
| Pace | 6 measured shots, 5 cuts, 5.5–6.6 cuts/min allowing one uncertain change at 0:41.2; 20.9 total picture changes/min; mean shot 9.11 s, median 3.99 s |
| Script | Almost wordless narrative; one isolated “Hey” at 0:11.5 in the transcript. No voiceover. Three short written claim cards at the end. |
| Voice | No narrator or presenter; a brief character interjection is the only detected word. |
| On screen | Roughly three quarters stylized, animated story and one quarter flat graphic cards. This split is inferred from the frames. |
| Captions | None; end cards are headline copy, not subtitles. |
| Sound | Music-like bed, roughly 89 BPM (uncertain estimate); measured −13.5 LUFS integrated, −0.2 dBFS true peak. No clear evidence of effects tied to cuts. |
| Structure | World → test → visible proof → meaning → product/brand; payoff begins around 0:40, product name at 0:46–0:48, hard stop after logo. |
