From purchasing chaos to an AI buying team
A 60-second purchasing-agent launch film that turns workflow pain into a cursor maze before revealing calm, evidence-rich product UI.
Field notes / why it works
The first two seconds pair a blunt complaint with giant kinetic type and moving cursors. A $50,000 scenario, three warning dialogs, a 98% statistic, and an isometric maze escalate the problem through 0:29; the switch to warm product UI at 0:30 makes the request-to-answer demo and pricing proof at 0:44–0:52 feel like relief.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A narrated, widescreen B2B launch film starts with a blunt workplace complaint, makes the cost feel chaotic through escalating metaphors, then lets the product interface restore order. The promise arrives around 0:29, with specific product proof from 0:31–0:52 and a final positioning line at 0:52–1:00.
Why it works
- The first claim is fully spoken by 0:02, while cursors and giant type make a routine work problem feel immediate.
- The same problem changes shape every few seconds: falling contract at 0:05, warning dialogs by 0:10, a 98% figure at 0:17, and a cursor maze from 0:20–0:29.
- The solution is demonstrated rather than merely named: a natural-language request at 0:31 leads to vendor options, security detail, pricing, and sentiment through 0:50.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9, 1280×720 · 60.0 s · 30 fps |
| Pace | 10 shots, 9 definite cuts (9–11/min allowing two uncertain changes); 14 internal steps, 23 total picture changes/min; 6.0 s mean shot |
| Script | 133 spoken words; 144 wpm across the film, 177 wpm while speaking; 13 short sentences; three questions |
| Voice | One low-register, animated, assured adult narrator; no person on camera |
| On screen | ~50% designed metaphors/type, ~37% product interface, ~10% brand/black bridge, ~3% space b-roll (approximate from shots) |
| Captions | No conventional subtitles; large headline keywords in the opening, small functional UI copy later |
| Sound | Continuous tonal/music-like bed about 11 dB below speech; accents may be present, but cuts have no clear consistent SFX; −15.1 LUFS measured |
| Structure | Complaint → expensive scenario → procedural chaos → prevalence → maze → product promise → interface proof → brand end card |
