Pika Agents: from chat to a creative world
An 86-second product launch turns prompt and menu fatigue into a conversational agent that makes a film, posters, and a website.
Field notes / why it works
The first 6 seconds make two concrete frustrations visible through an overflowing prompt and crowded menu; a simple chat then produces a finished scene by 0:08.3. One project keeps escalating from cinematic footage at 0:32 to poster variants around 0:55 and a website by 1:10, proving range without losing the story. The 31-shot edit alternates readable pastel UI with saturated action and uses black title cards as resets.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
Open on a familiar creative frustration, then replace a crowded tool interface with a simple conversation. Demonstrate the promise by taking one small request through a vivid first result, a bigger creative sequence, and two related deliverables before a short brand close.
Why it works
- The hook shows a prompt filling a large box for 2.0 seconds, then a crowded menu at 2.0–4.3: the viewer understands the problem before any product claim.
- At 8.3–13.0, a plain chat request cuts to a striking character performance, so the concept gets proof within 13 seconds.
- The same project branches into a film, posters, and a site from 24.5–73.9, making the agent feel like a continuing collaborator rather than a one-off generator.

| Reference | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 1280×720, 16:9 · 86.0 s · 24 fps |
| Pace | 31 measured shots, 30 cuts; 20.9 cuts/min, with rapid-motion ambiguities raising the possible range to 41.2. Mean 2.78 s, median 2.17 s; 9 internal step changes, at least 27.2 picture changes/min. |
| Script | No continuous explanatory voiceover. On-screen questions and agent replies carry the story; a vocal music track dominates. Automatic transcription reports 280 words/206 wpm, mostly unreliable song lyrics. |
| Voice | Brief casual human-to-agent dialogue near the close; song vocal elsewhere. No narrator to imitate. |
| On screen | Approx. 45% chat/UI and typography, 40% cinematic/generated-looking project footage, 15% project artifacts and brand cards (inferred from sheets). |
| Captions | No karaoke subtitles. Big uppercase headline cards, small sentence-case chat bubbles, occasional tiny italic tool-status labels. |
| Sound | Energetic vocal pop/hip-hop bed with a strong pulse; dialogue briefly comes forward at 1:14. Measured integrated loudness −7.2 LUFS. |
| Structure | Problem → conversational alternative → first result → agent reveal → escalating project → multi-output proof → playful coda → brand and URL. |
