Brain Model Input-to-Prediction Reveal
A scientific launch film that turns a rotating brain visual into a three-input prediction diagram and response comparison.
Field notes / why it works
The rotating brain and bright activation areas make the subject legible from 0:00, while a short centered title names the claim by roughly 0:01. One example row at 0:07.3 expands to three by 0:14.5, then a response-versus-prediction grid at 0:21.8 provides visual proof without dense narration. Its 29-second continuous canvas makes the complex idea feel like one coherent demonstration.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A monochrome 3D scientific object opens as a visual mystery, then a short centered title states the capability. The object gives way to a dark, orderly diagram: three types of input lead to predicted outputs, and the last arrangement places real responses beside predictions. The promise is visual proof of what a complex model can do, delivered largely without explanatory narration.
Why it works
- At 0:00 the large brain silhouette and small hot spots are readable before any text; the subject itself supplies the pattern interrupt.
- By 0:01 the title names the idea, and by 0:03.6 a second line extends the promise to three input types. The opening sells the claim in one glance.
- The diagram grows from one row at 0:07.3 to three at 0:14.5, then changes to actual-versus-predicted responses around 0:21.8. The proof becomes more specific rather than adding unrelated scenes.
Plate 02 / Format card
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9, 1280×720 · 29.0 s at 23.98 fps |
| Pace | One continuous motion-design shot, zero detected cuts; four internal picture changes at 0:10.6, 0:14.6, 0:17.4, 0:24.4; about 8.3 detected picture changes/min. Motion within each state matters more than that count. |
| Script | Sparse on-screen headings and labels. Automatic speech detected 20 words, but 12 words have low confidence and it does not behave like a scripted narration. |
| Voice | Brief, conversational human audio within the example clips; no dependable presenter or voiceover. |
| On screen | 100% composed motion graphic: approximately 5 s hero object, 12 s growing input/output schematic, 7 s response comparison, 5 s fade/close. |
| Captions | No timed subtitles. Centered explanatory title, then small uppercase diagram labels. |
| Sound | Very quiet tonal/ambient bed and possible clip audio; measured −38.7 LUFS integrated, −24.3 dBFS true peak. |
| Structure | Hero claim → one-to-three input reveal → actual-versus-prediction proof → quiet fade. No visible CTA. |
