An AI agent edits a Figma canvas
A silent desktop demo traces an agent request through Figma component work to a changed product UI.
Field notes / why it works
The opening places the product, Figma canvas, and agent terminal in one frame, establishing the task before the first cut at 0:08.8. A long canvas segment shows real selections and field changes, then three rapid shots at 0:24.5–0:27.5 compress component creation before the changed sidebar appears at 0:33.9.
Plate 01 / The format in one breath
A silent, music-led desktop capture shows an AI agent changing a design in Figma. The viewer sees an existing prototype and the agent workspace together, watches a short sequence inside the design tool, then sees the improvement in the prototype. The post makes the explicit launch promise; the video supplies the proof.
Why it works
- Result-first context: frame 0 contains the product UI, design canvas, and agent terminal together, so the relationship is visible before any explanation.
- A visible chain of action: the middle shows the canvas, a context menu, a selected component, and an agent update before the final app view (about 0:14–0:33).
- Time compression at the payoff: three shots in about three seconds at 0:24.5–0:27.5 move from component creation to the next agent command; the finished sidebar appears by 0:34.

| Reference | |
|---|---|
| Platform · aspect · length | X · 16:9, 1280×720 · 37.1 s at 24 fps |
| Pace | 9 measured shots, 8 definite cuts, 12.9–16.2 cuts/min including two uncertain changes; 21.0 picture changes/min; mean shot 4.12 s, median 2.17 s |
| Script | No spoken words, narration, or subtitle track; UI labels and typed agent activity carry the information |
| Voice | None; cursor, selection, and interface state are the guide |
| On screen | Desktop screen capture throughout; overlapping terminal/browser/Figma windows at the start and bridge, canvas close views in the middle, result UI at the end |
| Captions | None. Native UI text, code, labels, and purple selection marks are the readable signals |
| Sound | Continuous tonal music-like bed, roughly 144 BPM by heuristic; no clear cut-triggered effects; measured −10.8 LUFS integrated |
| Structure | Four beats: context and prompt → agent/canvas work → component creation → result; visual payoff at 0:34; no in-video CTA |
